Luis Walter Alvarez was an American experimental physicist, inventor, and professor who was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1968.
Biography
Luis Walter Alvarez was was born on from June 13, 1911 as the second child of the physician Walter C. Alvarez and his wife Harriet née Smyth.
